Polish culture wars

In the Polish presidential elections held on 28th June nearly a million-and-a-half people voted for the candidate representing what could be described as the traditionally-Catholic platform. The candidate, Krzysztof Bosak, received the support of a quarter of the youngest voting demographic, the 18-25 year old age group.

Should this quarter of the young Polish population act upon their apparent beliefs and raise large families with solid moral foundations, then they hold the future of Poland in their own hands. Their opponents will continue to promote the sterile culture of death which can only result in them contracepting, aborting and sodomising their future support base out of existence.

Raising large families and providing them with a solid moral formation is the cornerstone of Christian restoration and national regeneration.

The Promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

(1) “I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.

(2) I will establish peace in their homes.

(3) I will comfort them in all their afflictions.

(4) I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, in death.

(5) I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.

(6) Sinners will find in my Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.

(7) Lukewarm souls shall become fervent.

(8) Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.

(9) I will bless every place in which an image of my Heart is exposed and honoured.

10) I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.

(11) Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in my Heart.

(12) I promise you in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all-powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays in nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in my disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.”

The Church and the Land

The Church and the Land is a collection of essays and articles by England’s famous Dominican Distributist. De facto “chaplain” to the Distributists and the Distributist movement, Fr. Vincent McNabb was in many ways the most passionate and fervent of those seeking reform of economic life in the name of truly human values.

In over 40 short essays, Fr. McNabb tackles subjects as diverse and yet unified as industrialism, morality and economics, working conditions, and the role of the state in shaping and defending the proper economic conditions.

Fr. McNabb’s is a common and yet unique voice within the Distributist tradition, for he represents the voice of the Church, with its characteristic concern for morality and the salvation of souls, in economic as well as all other aspects of man’s daily life. Originally published: London, 1926.

One brick at a time

Last year The Saint George Educational Trust, a social endeavour registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales, was able to raise nearly £92,000 and award it as grants to Catholic social and cultural projects. Can you help us raise even more this year to help rebuild Christendom and plant the seeds of conversion for thousands, millions, of socially-bewildered and spiritually-blinded souls who are desperately looking for answers?

Why not join the Friends of St. George and make a small sacrifice of just £1.00 per day so that SGET can help fund even more worthy projects that aim to restore Christendom and its necessary social, cultural, educational and economic structures.

Join with us to rebuild Christian society brick by brick. “Thy will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven.”
