A Breath of Fresh Air

An honest politician…….. a rarity and a welcome breath of fresh air.

Up against ‘The System’

Pro-life activists were forced to appear before a House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee, on 12th December, to defend the holding of peaceful pro-life prayer vigils outside abortion factories.

The Baby Butchers and their monstrous supporters claim a barrage of non-existent and slanderous ‘evidence’ of illegal activity aimed at getting the pro-life vigils banned.

It’s not much of a surprise that the stooges of the House of Commons Committee are not at all interested that there is no demonstrable evidence of what is claimed by the Baby Butchers, and not at all interested in hearing the witness of many women entering the abortion mills who are willing to offer contrary first-hand evidence in support of the pro-life vigils.

National Day of Prayer and Fasting for Life on Friday

Hosted by The Good Counsel Network this can be done at home, at work, in church or wherever you are throughout the day.

“On Friday 17th November, the Vigil of the Dedication of the Basilica of Ss Peter and Paul, please pray and fast for the end of abortion and euthanasia.

Fast from all food except bread and water for the day
Fast from a particular food or luxury, e.g. chocolate, alcohol, cigarettes, TV.
Fast from whatever you can, given your state of health etc, but make sure it is something that involves a sacrifice to yourself.

We are asking people to say a Rosary (or an extra Rosary if you say it daily already).
You could also offer an extra effort such as going to Mass (or an extra Mass) on the day, or going to Adoration. You can even pray before a closed tabernacle if Adoration is not available near you.”

Good Counselling!

The Good Counsel Network write:

“This is our answer to Channel 4’s Dispatches Programme. If Pro-Life people don’t stand up for the truth, there will be no way left to reach these women. Please don’t just like this video. Share it and share it again. Far and wide with those who are pro-life and those who are not. The abortion industry wants to keep these women from being heard. Only you can help us to make sure this doesn’t happen any more”.

Abortion is the leading cause of death in the world, ending more lives than cardiovascular disease, cancer, AIDS, war, hunger … or any other cause (Based on data from the World Heath Organization).

The abortion crisis has reached epidemic levels across the world, destroying the lives of children and leaving women and men scarred with lives of regrets… every single day. WE cannot simply wait for politicians to solve this crisis. It’s up to us to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves” – right in our own communities.

To help combat this crisis effectively, 40 Days for Life recently sponsored a one-day workshop in London. Each presentation was videoed and two are reproduced here. To watch all the talks please visit Robert Colquhoun’s website.
