Sacraments above all else

Catholics took to the streets in towns and cities throughout Europe on Sunday, in protest against lockdown restrictions that have closed churches and forbidden people to gather together. Government actions in many countries have effectively banned Christians from receiving the Sacraments.

But Catholics defiantly took to the streets, holding impromptu confessions and Mass.

The message is clear: ‘You will have to kill and imprison us to stop us receiving the Sacraments.’

“The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.”

Rome will not know Easter without Christ

In Rome today, a former trustee of The Saint George Educational Trust is leading Romans to St. Peter’s Square to demand the public freedom of the faithful to attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and to receive the Sacraments of the Church.

Coronacraziness II

The BBC admits:

“The drastic measures taken in the UK to tackle coronavirus have been justified because of the need to save lives.

Modelling by Imperial College London – used to inform government – suggests 500,000 could die if we do nothing.

[…….]

Every year more than 500,000 people die in England and Wales: factor in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and the figure tops 600,000.

The coronavirus deaths will not be on top of this. Many would be within this “normal” number of expected deaths. In short, they would have died anyway.”
