“This is the first time in recent Italian history that the people protest not under the insignia of the hammer and sickle or trade union flags but by holding the rosary and showing sacred icons.”
– Monsignor Carlo Maria Viganò
It all started in 2020 when a group of Catholics set out to break the public lockdown in place at that time and attempted to get to Santa Maria Maggiore and St Peter’s Square in symbolic defiance of the COVID Regime.
They were arrested and fined for it back then. Eighteen months later, after helping to launch numerous demonstrations and court cases against the Health Dictatorship throughout the length and breadth of Italy, some of them languish in prison without trial or conviction because the COVID Regime considers them to be a serious threat to the imposition of the Green Pass COVID passport.
